About Us

Established on March 30, 1982, GTDC was tasked with overseeing the commercial ventures of the Government within the tourism sector of Goa. The government’s responsibilities concerning accommodation, transportation, tours, and other related assets were entrusted to GTDC for administration and management. This initiative aimed to promote and develop tourism in the state while ensuring the welfare of employees associated with these assets. Over the past 25 years, GTDC has established itself as a prominent player in Goa's service industry, contributing significantly to the region's tourism landscape.
